Corporate Traveller Loughborough
At Elite Acacia Transfer, we don’t just transport our guests to airports. We also take you to seaports and also, just as importantly, to railway stations.
The nature of transportation is something that is constantly changing. Just as Elite Acacia Transfer has emerged as a service to provide luxurious chauffeur-driven travel at an affordable price, so the places we take people have changed too.
If you are a corporate traveller in Loughborough, you may find some of your business journeys involve the train, far more so than might have been the case even a few years ago.
Let the train take the strain
Rail travel has its own fascinating story. Once central to the UK transport network as a swift means of getting around,20th century passengers numbers peaked in 1923. Decline set in, nationalisation did not reverse it, and the 1960s brought a drastic culling of the network via the
Beeching Cuts.
However, recent years have seen a dramatic reversal as rail passenger numbers have soared. New stations have been created,
old lines are starting to be restored
and rail makes up some of the biggest infrastructure projects in the UK, from Crossrail to HS2.
All this is not even to mention the international travel option rail now offers via the Channel Tunnel, something that provides an alternative to air and sea journeys as well as a great way of getting directly to Paris and Brussels.
Great Midlands rail options
The Midlands is a great pace to travel to and from by rail. The Midland Main Line stops at Leicester, Derby and Nottingham, serving Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester to the north and linking London (St Pancras) via St Albans.
Alternatively, by stopping at East Coast mainline stations such as Peterborough and Grantham, people can travel all the way up to Newcastle and Edinburgh as well as across to East Anglian locations such as Norfolk.
We also serve the West Midlands, with Coventry and Birmingham well within reach, providing links to the Chiltern and West Coast lines.
All this means we can help you connect well now, and this will only increase as new lines are added. Eventually,
HS2
will add to the services accessible in the East Midlands, with a station planned for a site between Nottingham and Derby at Toton.
What we offer rail travellers
At
Elite Acacia Transfer, we recognise the increased demand for rail travel in Britain, as well as the fact that many people like to use rail travel as part of their journeys to airports, several of which have their own stations. We also know this is increasingly important for corporate travellers and those travelling for leisure, as well as those commuting regularly.
Of course, at EA Transfers it matters not whether you are making a journey by rail, sea or air. In each and every case, when you book us for your corporate travel needs, you can be sure of a great journey made in comfort and style - every time.
